About me

I am a PhD student in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

My research uses applied economic methods to evaluate Brazilian public policies from different areas.

My job market paper investigates the provision of free public transportation for the elderly and how it affects individuals' mode demand.

The other chapters of my thesis evaluate the impacts of affirmative action policies on Brazilian higher education and the speed limit reduction in the roads of São Paulo.
